Breaking News: Ron Artest changes his name

September 16, 2011 Ron Artest appeared in front of judges asking them to approve of his name change. On January 18, 2012 the judge finallyu approved of him changing his name. So Ron Artest is no longer Ron Artest. His new name is Meta Worldpeace, which means bring world peace.

Lakers loseing streak ends.

Sunday January 29, 2012 the Lakers played on the road against the Minnesota Timberwolves. The Lakers finally ended there loseing streak with a win over the Timberwolves. The Lakers won 106-101. The key player for the Lakers that night was Kobe Bryant. Bryant had 35 points, 14-29 shots made inside the three point arc, 5-9 three pointers made, 2-2 free throws made, 14 rebounds, and 2 assists. Over all the offense and deffense perofrmed well ,but the deffense perofrmed the best. The deffense recovered 34 rebounds ,and forced 11 turnovers.

The Key player for the Timberwolves that night was Kevin Love. Love had 33 points, 13-22 points made inside the three point arc, 1-4 three pointers made, 6-8 free throws made, 13 rebounds, and 2 assists. Over all the Timberwolves played well as a team on offense and deffense, but they were just out played by the Lakers.

The lakers next game is Tuesday January 31, 2012 at home against the Bobcats.

Lakers fall to the Bucks 89-100

Saturday January 28, 2012 the Lakers played on the road against the Milwaukee Bucks. This is the fourth straight game they lost. The key player for the Lakers that night was Kobe Bryant. Bryant had 27 points, 8 rebounds, 9 assists, 10-21 shots made inside the three point arc, and 1-5 three pointers made. Over all the Lakers played terrible on offense and deffense. On offense they couldn't pass the ball, and way to many turnovers. That night there deffense was better than there offense. There deffense had 28 rebounds which helped them get down the court and score.

The bucks overall player of the night was D. Gooden. Gooden had 23 points, 8 rebounds, 1 assist, 9-15 shots made inside the three point arc, and 1-3 3 pointers made. Overall the Bucks played well on  offense and on deffense. There deffense was the best that night. There deffense forced 15 turnovers, and recorved 29 rebounds.

The lakers next game is on Sunday January 29, 2012 on the road at Minnesota.

Lakers lose by 2 to the Pacers 96-98

Sunday January 22 the Lakers lost at home to the Indiana Pacers. The key player for the Lakers that night was Kobe Bryant. Bryant had 33 points, 4 assists, 8 rebounds, and 14-30 shots made inside the 3 point arc. The offense and deffense played well that night. They had little mistakes, and only a couple turnovers. Overall as a team they performed well and should of got the win. The key player for the Pacers that night was Roy Hibbert. Hibbert had 18 points, 4 assists, 8 rebounds, and 9-13 shots made inside the three point arc. The Pacers offense and deffense performed very well and had little mistakes. Overall as a team they perofrmed hard and strong, and played there hearts out until they got the win.
The Lakers play on Wednesday January 25th at home against the Clippers, Saturday January 28th on the road against Milwaukee, and on Sunday January 29th on the road against Minnesota.

Lakers fall to Orlando 80-92

On Friday January 20th the Lakers played on teh road against the Orlando Magic. The key player for the Lakers that night was Kobe Bryant. Bryant had 30 points, 8 assists, 1-3 3 pointers made, and 11-22 shots made inside the three point arc. The Lakers offense performed the best, but there deffense failed to commit. The deffense let the Magic get 50 rebounds, and 12 three pointers. Overall as a team they played fairly well. The key player that night for the Magic was Dwight Howard, Howard had 21 points, 2 assists, 23 rebounds, and 6-14 shots made inside the three point arc. Overall as a team the Magic out rebounded, and out scored the Lakers to get a big win.

Lakers fall to the Heat 87-98

Thursday January 19th the Lakers played on the road against the Miami Heat. The Lakers key player of the night was Pau Gasol. Pau had 26 points, 2 assists, 3-3 3 pointers, and 11-19 points made inside the three point arc. The second player of the night was Kobe Bryant. Kobe had 24 points, 3-6 3 pointers made, 7 assists, and 8-21 shots made inside the 3 point arc. Overall the Lakers played like crap on offense and defense. On offense they couldn't make shots, and they kept turning the ball over. On deffense they couldnt block shots, guard there guys, or force any turn overs. The key player for the heat that night was Lebron James. Lebron had 31 points, 8 assists, 2-3 3 pointers made, and 12-27 points made insdie the three point arc. Overall the Heat were on there game that night offenesively and deffensively. They didn't have as many mistakes as the Lakers did. The lakers are now ranked 8 in there divison.

Laker's fall to the Clippers 94-102

Saturday Janurary 14, the Los Angeles Lakers played against the Los Angeles Clippers. Saturday night the Lakers traveled to there cross town rivals the Clippers. The whole game the Cli[ppers out scored, out rebounded, and out stole the Lakers. The key player that night for the Lakers was guard Kobe Bryant. Kobe had 42 points, 14-28 shots made inside teh three point line, 4 assists, 2 steals, and 2 blocks. Kobe was the top player all night out of both teams. The top player for the Clippers on saturday night was Chris Paul with 33 points, before leaving the game due to a strained left hamstring. The Lakers are ranked 5 in there western conference.
Tonight Monday the 16 the Lakers play the Dallas Mavericks at home. My out come for that game is the Lakers should be able to pull off a win since there at home, beacuse they have a better deffense and offense than the mavericks, and there ranked higher than them.
